Eastbound I-80 completely blocked in Tooele County after semi-truck rollover

STANSBURY PARK, Utah (KUTV) — A semi-truck rolled on I-80 Thursday morning, blocking the entire eastbound highway, authorities said.

According the Utah Highway Patrol, the crash happened shortly before 9 a.m. near milepost 79 in Tooele County. Crews had one lane open by 11:30 a.m., but the Utah Department of Transportation warned there would likely be residual delays.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known. It was also unclear if the driver was injured.
