Pedestrian killed in Midvale crash that has closed part of State Street

MIDVALE — Unified police are investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian crash in Midvale.

Officers were dispatched to the area of 7500 S. State Street earlier Wednesday to find a car had hit a person, according to the Unified Police Department.

The crash caused the closure of southbound lanes of State Street between 7500 South and 7720 South, according to a tweet from the KSL Traffic Center.
